Highland Park Middle School

Check out the project Ms. Hawthorne's class worked on! The artist the class researched was Kehinde Wiley who is most famous for painting Obama’s presidential portrait. The goal was to create a boldly patterned background with pastels in the style of the artist. Students then uploaded an image of their drawing and edited it digitally on Canva. They then added a self-portrait or a portrait of a person they look up to or admire. Here is Angel Vicente's project!
