Youth Summit

On Friday, May 5, students attended the Youth summit hosted by the Central Jersey Alphas at the Rutgers Bussiness School. First, students met with a professor at Rutgers, and the professor discussed how they could succeed in life. After the presentation, the students separated into two groups to attend different workshops. At the first workshop, the students met with college students studying to get a bio-engineering degree at Rutgers. They did an activity on how to make a robot arm with cardboard. At the next workshop, the students went to meet with college students who are studying to get a civil engineering degree. They had the students learn how to create and design a bridge. After that, students took a tour of the Rutgers Business School. Students were able to interact and make friendships with students from other schools.
